Halloween Schooling Show Start Times

Hey Raynham Riders!  We are so excited to have so many of you participating in the schooling show this Saturday.   Mother nature looks like she is going to be kind to us - the forecast is currently 16c!!! 

I did my very best to give everyone their top horse picks but I had 16 requests for Rumba, 12 for Jynx and 12 for Freckles - popular ponies!  Plus horses can only go once in each division since all riders ride together in the flat class.  If I couldn't give you your top choices, I did make sure I assigned you a horse that you had ridden well recently, so I am confident everyone will do a fantastic job!  If you have not yet registered, there are still spaces in some divisions.  Please note that the only horses still available are Patches, Sunny, Breeze, Snoopy, Scooby, Georgie, Juno and River.  Please email Nikki ASAP!

IMPORTANT DETAILS:

- Riders need to arrive at least 45 min before their ride time to do fantastic grooming job and get tacked up.

- Head to the camp trailer when you arrive for registration & to pick up your number

- Show attire is not required, just dress neatly and warmly.

- Please leave dogs at home since it will be a busy day.

- Breakfast and lunch will be available for sale in the camp trailer!

Halloween Schooling Show - Saturday, October 29th

We will be having our annual Halloween Schooling Show on Saturday, October 29^th.  Everyone is welcome to attend!  We are offering the following levels, if you are uncertain what level to enter, please ask your instructor at your next lesson.

Division Descriptions: Grasshopper Division - $60.00 Flat Class - Walk, posting trot, 2 point at the walk, reverse in the walk  Over Fences - Trot pole course, 4 -6 sets of trot poles  Smurf Division - $60.00 Flat Class - Walk, posting trot, 2-point in trot, individual canter  Over Fences - Crossrail course, 6 - 8 fences, max. 1'6"  Novice Division - $60.00 Flat Class - Walk, trot, 2-point in trot, group canter,  Over Fences - 2'0" max course  ​Pre-Entry Division - $70.00 Dressage Flat Class - W/T/C, sitting trot, 20m circles, shallow loops off the track  Over Fences - 2'4" max course  Entry Division - $70.00 Dressage Flat Class - W/T/C, sitting trot without stirrups, 15m circles, shallow loops off the track  Over Fences - 2'8" max course Pre-Training Division - $70.00 Dressage Flat Class - W/T/C, sitting trot & canter without stirrups, 10m circles in trot, 15m circles in canter, walk to canter  Over Fences - 3' max course

Proper show attire is not required – just dress warmly and neatly!   Students will receive a warm up prior to the start of their class time so you should arrive 45min – 1hr early (depending on how long you think it will take you to groom/clean tack)

Revised Fall Lesson Schedule

Hey Raynham Riders,

Thank-you to everyone for your patience and support getting the schedule sorted for this fall.  I know I say that it's a challenge every year, but this year seemed especially difficult!  Please check to see if your time has changed - I did have to make quite a few adjustments.  Hopefully this schedule works well for everyone!

Again, if you are missing from the schedule or are booked for a time you cannot ride at, please let me know and I will do my very best to sort it out!

Tentative Fall Schedule

Hey Raynham Riders!

I hope everyone is excited as I am for the fall lesson to begin!  It sure feels like fall is coming today after the crazy heat we've had all summer.   The school horses are enjoying their vacation this week but I'm sure they are looking forward to lessons (and treats!) again too!

Here is the TENTATIVE schedule for this session.  If you are missing from the schedule or are schedule for a time that you cannot ride at, don't panic!  Just send me an email and I will sort it out :) I did my very best with the schedule, it was even more challenging than usual this year.  A huge thanks to everyone that helped me figure it out - Helen, Julia, Mackenzie, Amy and Caryn!  I am still missing a few rider's forms and I had to schedule a few riders for times that they did not list as available so I am anticipating that there WILL be changes.  Please check back here Sunday for any revisions. When you arrive for your first lesson of the session next week, please head over to the camp trailer to check in (new rider forms & waivers, payment, etc.)
