Summer Camps, Lessons & Volunteer Day!

Hey Raynham Riders!

It’s hard to believe but the spring session will be over in less than a month!  We’d like to thank all of our terrific students and staff for a fantastic year.  We hope we will see everyone at the barn this summer; details on summer lesson
scheduling are below.  All the classes are individual bookings so even if you can only come for a few classes, you won’t be as rusty in September!   Don’t forget fall lesson registration opens August 1st on the website!

See you in the barn!

Nikki, Lindsay & Caryn!
SUMMER CAMP 2017!!
Painted ponies is a favourite camp activity!  Look how young Ally is in this photo, we clearly need to get some new painted pony photos this summer!
Have you registered for summer camp yet?  We still have spaces available for all sessions but sessions are filling fast so don’t miss out!  REGISTER ONLINE NOW!  Our fabulous summer camps are appropriate for riders ages 7 – 16 and feature TWO rides daily, fun program options, late-night BBQ and always-fantastic parent show on the last day!

We also still have a few positions available for CREW campers, if you are interested, details can be found here.   Crew acceptance emails were sent out today, if you applied but did not receive an email, please email Nikki and we'll sort it out!
Spring Volunteer Day - Saturday, June 10th:
We'd like to say a HUGE thanks to everyone that came out to help this past Saturday, we knocked a bunch of stuff off the list!  If you weren’t able to come last weekend, we are having a second volunteer day Saturday, June 10th
We will have jobs for all ages (Moms and Dads – your help is much appreciated too!) or this is a great opportunity to get volunteer hours if you’re in high school.  We will provide a BBQ lunch and we have PRIZES for participants!  We hope to see you all there!

Summer Lesson Scheduling Details!
As in past years, we book summer lessons separately from the September – June schedule as everyone’s lives are so hectic in the summer!  We will be using the online scheduler again this summer to make scheduling easier and more flexible for everyone.   Simply pick the dates and times that work for you on the online scheduler and pay only for the classes you can attend.  The scheduler also allows you to book recurring lessons so you do not have to schedule each class individually if you are able to come the same time each week.   The scheduler does not allow bookings less than 24 hours out so don’t forget to book in advance.  We are closed Sundays during July & August so that the school horses still get a day off each week.  The scheduler will be available for current students starting this Friday, June 2nd. If you are not already taking lessons here at Raynham, please wait until Friday, June 9th to book as we give priority to our current students. If you have any issues, please let me know!

Friday, May 5th - Jumping Clinic with Marika VanHoogenhuize

Hey Raynham Riders!

Sorry for the short notice.  We are planning to run a jumping clinic with Marika VanHoogenhuize this Friday.  She was our fantastic judge at the schooling show last weekend and spent many years training under Eric Lamaze.  She also coaches Lindsay occasionally and has a fantastic eye and is very clear and specific in her coaching.

We are planning to run four, 1 1/2-hour groups if interest demands, starting at 1pm and running until 7pm.  The cost will be $60.00 if you own/lease/show board (since you will not do a practice ride Friday if you ride in the clinic).  The cost for riding school students is $80.00.

If you are interested, please email Nikki ASAP and we will put a schedule together.  I hope many of you are able to take advantage of this fantastic opportunity!

Nikki
