TENTATIVE Session Three Lesson Schedule: March 16th - June 23rd

Hey Raynham Riders!

Thank you so much for your patience with the delay in getting the schedule posted, it's always challenging but this was the most changes I've ever had to make midway through the school year.  Please double check that your lesson time is still the same, I had to shift a lot of the existing lessons to try to accommodate the requested changes and new students.

If there is an issue with your scheduled time, or you are missing from the schedule, please let me know ASAP as there is already a waiting list started for the weekend days.  I will post a revised schedule Friday with any further changes.

Classes resume this Saturday, March 16th but I will not enter the classes into the online scheduler until all conflicts are resolved so you will likely not receive emailed appointment reminders for the first week of classes. If you are still away for March Break and will miss a class, please email the office.  We will be sending out invoices via email shortly, please note that this is a longer session so students have the option to pay in two instalments.  Further details regarding payment options will be in your invoice email.

We are happy to see so many familiar faces returning this session and we'd also like to give a big WELCOME to all our new students!   I have included some useful links, below, for new riders.  Also, if you have not yet subscribed to our email list, please do so - here is the link!

New student?  Please see our Riding School Package or the following links for everything you need to know!
  • Riding School Policies - Please read! These policies apply to all students.

Session Three Lesson Schedule: March 16th - June 23rd

Hey Raynham Riders,

There were quite a few requested changes to the schedule as well as many new and returning riders for next session.  I am just waiting to hear back from a few students before posting the schedule.  If you have not yet let me know you need to make a change to your lesson time or you wish to resume classes, please let me know ASAP as I am hoping to get at least a tentative schedule posted this evening.

I look forward to seeing everyone back at the barn soon!

Nikki

March Break Clinics - Wed. March 13th & Thurs. March 14th

Hey Raynham Riders,

Are you home over March Break? Come spend some time at the barn! Our in-house clinics will be with me (Nikki!) and we'll have a blast!! They are open to riders Novice level and above.

Wednesday, March 13th - Indoor Eventing
1hr 15min group lessons
We will have XC style fences set up. The lesson will cover how to handle different types of XC fences. Exercise will be modified to suit rider/horse ability.
Groups will be created based on rider level: 10:00am - 11:15am, 11:15am - 12:30pm, 1pm - 2:15pm, 2:15pm - 3:30pm

Thursday, March 14th - Dressage Test Clinic
40 to 45 min per rider: Approx. 30 min lesson, including creating a plan on how to warm up for a dressage test at a show.
After the lesson/warm-up portion, you will run through a dressage test at your level. I will score the test for you and provide feedback. Please bring a phone/camera so someone can video your test as well.

* I am still looking into whether or not we can get feedback on tests from dressage judges through Equestrian Canada. The program may only be available to those that selected "dressage" as their primary discipline on their EC membership. Fingers crossed though!

COST: $75.00/day, $125.00 for both days. $10.00 off/day if you own/lease your own horse.

No food will be provided this time as I will be teaching so I won't be able to get anything set up but I'm happy to plug in the hot water for tea/hot chocolate and there is a fridge and microwave in the camp trailer so you can bring a lunch.

If you would like to participate, please email info@raynhamstables.com.  It looks like it will be MUCH warmer next week thankfully!
