Hey Raynham Riders! We are having our annual Halloween Schooling Show this Saturday, October 31st. The show is open to all riders, is very low-key and tons of fun!
Riders can enter online by Wednesday, October 28th. Start times will be posted here, on the blog by Thursday, Oct 29th. Below are the class descriptions:
Grasshopper Division - $60.00
- Flat Class - Walk, posting trot, 2 point at the walk, reverse in the walk
- Over Fences - Trot pole course, 4 -6 sets of trot poles
- Flat Class - Walk, posting trot, 2-point in trot, individual canter
- Over Fences - Crossrail course, 6 - 8 fences, max. 1'6"
- Flat Class - Walk, trot, 2 pt trot, group canter,
- Over Fences - 2'0" max course
- Equitation Flat Class - Sitting trot w/o stirrups, 20m circles, 2pt in canter, turns down quarter line
- Over Fences - 2'4" max course
- Equitation Flat Class - Above plus: walk to canter transitions, 15m circles, leg yield from quarter line to wall
- Over Fences - 2'8" max course

Approximate Time Schedule:
The times below are for the start of the division. Riders will need to arrive at least 45min early to do a thorough grooming, clean their tack, then tack-up and mount 15 - 20 minutes before their start time to warm up. When riders arrive, they should head to the office at the back of the house to pay and pick up their number.
9:30am - Grasshopper Division
10:15am - Smurf Division
11:00am - Novice Division
12:00pm - Costume Class Parade
1:00pm - Pre-Entry Division
2:00pm - Entry Division
3:00pm - Pre-Training Division
Attire:
Please dress neatly but appropriately for the weather. Be sure to arrive early enough to do an impeccable grooming job and clean tack. You will need to arrive 45min - 1 hour before your division unless your horse will already be tacked up.
Other: Breakfast and lunch available for purchase. Please leave dogs at home.
