Hey Raynham Riders,

There has been some confusion regarding the dressage tests, we will be using the EC Eventing Test.  They can be found here

The tests are as follows:
Pre-Training - Pre-Training  Test 1
Entry - Entry Test 2
Pre- Entry - Entry  Test 1

NOTES:

• When you arrive, please head to the camp trailer office to pay and pick up your number

• Riders need to arrive 45min in advance to groom & tack-up so they are ready to mount at least 15 min early to warm up.

• There will be food and drinks available for sale in the Camp Trailer
• We have a bake sale, a tack-swap meet as well as Point Two, Boogaloo Boots and Avid Apparel so there's lots of shopping!

• No dogs allowed

• If your name is missing from the list, don't panic!  Just email Nikki and we will fit you in

BBQ, Prizes & Challenges!

Calling all Raynham boarders, lesson students, show students & their families! We’re always working to improve the facilities here at Raynham Stables to make it a better place to ride. Here’s your chance to be a part of it! 

After this particularly challenging winter, we have a ton of projects to tackle around the farm!   The volunteer day will run 9:00am - 4:00pm but you do not need to stay all day, any help is appreciated!    We hope to see many Raynham riders out to lend a hand!  There will be jobs appropriate for younger students as well as parents (Dads - we're looking at you!).

Jobs include:

- Sanding and repainting the wood stadium jumps
- Staining/painting XC jumps
- Re-paint picnic tables
- Staining the wash stalls
- Bag & label winter horse blankets for pick-up to be cleaned
- Clean up gardens and re-plant
- Set up picnic table tent
- Set up camp tents and waterproof
- Clean up branches (everywhere!!!)
- Dig out corners around dressage ring & repair railway ties around perimeter
- Finish railway ties around perimeter of stadium ring
- Rake and pick paddocks
- Trim brush around fence lines
- Fill holes in XC field and along fence lines with screenings
- And more!

We will be holding a raffle for horses prizes and some FREE private lessons (jumping or dressage, your choice!) at the end of the day.  You get a ticket to put into the draw for each hour that you are here helping out!  Also we will be providing a BBQ lunch and refreshments throughout the day.

Spring Schooling Show - Saturday, April 25th!

We will be having our Spring Schooling Show on Saturday, April 25th!  The schooling shows are always laid back and tons of fun!  All riding school students are welcome to participate.  Even if you're not up to competing this time, all riders are welcome to come out and cheer on the other riders!  Riders can enter online,  http://www.raynhamstables.com/entry-form.html.  If you are unsure as to what level to enter at, please ask your instructor at your next lesson.

Lindsay and Barbie complete CCI** at Ocala International Horse Trial!

Congrats to Lindsay and Barbie for completing the CCI** in Ocala this past weekend! It was a tough track and Barbie made it look like a breeze with just one unfortunate drive by at the double brushes. There show jumping round was lovely as well with Barbie looking fresh and fit after the long XC in the heat the day before. Thank you to Boogaloo Boots for outfitting Barbie in her terrific blue & yellow brush boots!

Show Team Clinic - Sat. April 18th

Wow, time is flying by this year!  Since it's been so cold, it feels like spring has snuck up on me.  As was announced at the Meet & Greet, we are going to have our annual Show Team Clinic on Saturday, April 18th from 4 - 7pm.  Show students will rotate through 3 stations: Mane & Braiding, Bathing & Grooming, and Tack Cleaning & Packing.  Any veteran show team riders willing to help run a station, please let me know.  The stations will run from 4:00 - 6:00pm then we'll have a meeting to go over the show schedule, 2015 rule changes, etc.

Can't wait to see everyone there!
