Halloween Schooling Show Start Times

Important Notes:

• When you arrive, please head to the camp trailer office to pay and pick up your number
• Riders need to arrive 45 min in advance to groom & tack-up so they are ready to mount at their listed warm up time.
• There will be food and drinks available for sale in the Camp Trailer
• No dogs allowed please 
• Please note that I may have put you in a different division than you registered for.  I did my best to put riders at similar levels in the same divisions and also I had to switch up some riders to try to make the horse assignments work - Freckles, Richelle and Rumba were very popular this show and with Jazz off, it made it very tricky!  
• If your name is missing from the list, don't panic! Just email Nikki and we will fit you in!

The Halloween Costume Parade will be @ 11:45am in the Big Arena.  Please ensure you are assigned a horse when you check in at the camp trailer!

Halloween Schooling Show - Saturday, Oct 31st

 Hey Raynham Riders! 

We are having our annual Halloween Schooling Show this Saturday, October 31st.  The show is open to all riders, is very low-key and tons of fun!   

Riders can enter online by Wednesday, October 28th. Start times will be posted here, on the blog by Thursday, Oct 29th.  Below are the class descriptions:

Grasshopper Division - $60.00

• Flat Class - Walk, posting trot, 2 point at the walk, reverse in the walk
• Over Fences - Trot pole course, 4 -6 sets of trot poles

Smurf Division - $60.00

• Flat Class - Walk, posting trot, 2-point in trot, individual canter
• Over Fences - Crossrail course, 6 - 8 fences, max. 1'6"

Novice Division - $60.00

• Flat Class - Walk, trot, 2 pt trot, group canter, 
• Over Fences - 2'0" max course

Pre-Entry Division - $60.00

• Equitation Flat Class - Sitting trot w/o stirrups,  20m circles, 2pt in canter,  turns down quarter line
• Over Fences - 2'4" max course

Entry Division - $60.00

• Equitation Flat Class - Above plus: walk to canter transitions,  15m circles, leg yield from quarter line to wall
• Over Fences - 2'8" max course

Pre-Training Division - $60.00

• Equitation Flat Class - Above plus: leg yielding away from wall, 10m circles, canter w/o stirrups, canter to walk transitions
• Over Fences - 3' max course

Show Details:

Approximate Time Schedule:
The times below are for the start of the division.  Riders will need to arrive at least 45min early to do a thorough grooming, clean their tack, then tack-up and mount 15 - 20 minutes before their start time to warm up.   When riders arrive, they should head to the office at the back of the house to pay and pick up their number.

9:30am - Grasshopper Division
10:15am - Smurf Division
11:00am - Novice Division
12:00pm - Costume Class Parade
1:00pm - Pre-Entry Division
2:00pm - Entry Division
3:00pm - Pre-Training Division

Attire:
Please dress neatly but appropriately for the weather.  Be sure to arrive early enough to do an impeccable grooming job and clean tack.  You will need to arrive 45min - 1 hour before your division unless your horse will already be tacked up.

Other:  Breakfast and lunch available for purchase. Please leave dogs at home.

Session One Lesson Schedule

Hey Raynham Riders!

Thank you for your patience in getting the lesson schedule posted.  It was trickier than usual this year; I have done my absolute best to give everyone has a time that works for them.  The weekends are a bit too popular - if anyone is interested in switching to a weeknight, let me know!  It would be much quiet than than the weekends and you would be more likely to get your favourite horse/pony :)

We will have the office set up in the camp trailer for the first week of the session.  Please come check in at your first class as there are new rider forms to fill out and we are going to invoice as you check in so you can let us know if you would prefer to pay for the full session or do the payment plan (see pricing details here).

If you are missing from the schedule, don't panic!  Just send me an email and I will get it sorted out for you.

Some Notes:
Tuesday @ 7pm - Erika, Sue & Robyn - Some of you requested a private/semi but I thought you would make a terrific small group.  If you would prefer to do a private, let me know and I can adjust!
Wed @ 6:00pm - Olivia B - All of your lesson buddies from camp are doing Thursday @ 6pm, let me know if you'd prefer to switch to the group class!
Sat @ 10am - Julia D. - I couldn't create a group class at your level close to your sisters' lesson time.  There is a group Thursdays at 6pm that you could ride in instead if you prefer.
Sat @ 1:30pm - Simona, Mila, Paulina & BK - Since you are all just starting out, I have put you in all in a one-hour time block.  We will do private lessons for September and then transition you to a group once you are ready.
