Schooling Show & Open House Dec 20th!

In case you haven't seen the notices in the tack-up area we're having a Combined Test Schooling Show and Holiday Open House on Dec. 20th! Entries due by 9:00am this Friday (Dec. 18th), ride times will be posted by 12:00pm on Friday. We are going to run the format where you ride your dressage test around the stadium course then proceed directly into your stadium round. We found this was the best way to keep riders (and their spectators!) warm! The camp trailer will also be open and heated to keep everyone toasty warm. Our Open House will be begin at 1:00pm, pony games anyone? Everyone is welcome to attend! There is a sign-up sheet in the tack-up area for pot-luck contributions. Hope to see you all there!

Clinics, Clinics, Clinics!

We are proud and excited to announce that we are having a clinic with Mac Cone on Sunday, December 27th. There will be three groups, 2'6"-3'0" (Entry - Pre-Training), 3'0"-3'6" (Pre-Training - Training), and 3'6" + (Preliminary+). Each group will ride for two hours and will have four to six riders. All the details are posted in the tack-up area. The cost is $200.00+GST for those riding their own horse, $230.00+GST for a school horse (lunch & groom included). Auditing is also available, with or without lunch for $20 - $30. This clinic is open to outside riders, please contact us at info@raynhamstables.com if you are interested.

We are also running two, one day clinics with Lindsay and Nikki. Monday, Dec. 28th is going to be a dressage clinic. The format will be small group lessons in the morning, lunch break and classroom session then dressage tests run throughs in the afternoon. Each rider will have their test videoed and will get to review it after their ride! On Tuesday, Dec. 29th we are going to run a show jumping clinic with the same format as the dressage clinic, group lessons in the morning, lunch break and classroom session then each rider will be videoed while riding a show jumping course which will be reviewed after their ride. Rates vary depending on whether you are riding your own horse or a school horse and there are discounts for riding both days! See tack-up area for details.

Raynham Gear Orders!

It's that time of year again! Raynham Gear orders are due this Friday (but, since I'm not sending them in until 9am Monday morning, I can accept until then!).

Show Team Try-outs!

In case you haven't seen the poster in the barn, show team try-outs are going to be held December 31st, 2009 9:00am - 2:30pm! The show team application forms are in the tack-up area, please fill it out and submit by Dec. 15th. The try-outs will be judged by Jo Young, international FEI dressage judge. You will receive feedback on your try-out so this is a terrific educational opportunity as well!

These are open try-outs, no previous show experience required. Please send an email to info@raynhamstables.com if you would like a copy of the application sent to you.
