Equilates Clinic with Rachael Faulkner
Friday, Feb. 5th & Saturday, Feb. 6th
Raynham Stables, Nobleton, ON
Equilates educates and trains the rider, on and off the horse, from the inside out. It helps build a stable framework and body awareness from which confidence and harmony in the saddle can develop. Rachael was a member of the 1992 Eventing Team at the Barcelona Olympics. She currently lives in England where she rides and teaches Equilates. For more information on Equilates, visit her website http://www.jigsawequine.com/equilates.htm.
Friday evening is a lecture format and demonstration, 6:30 - 9:00pm (refreshments included). Participants will learn the fundamentals of equilates and basic exercises that they can work on at home that are beneficial for all riders.
Saturday will be run in two small groups of 6 - 8 participants. Group One will run from 9:00-11:30am and Group Two from 12:00-2:30pm. Each person will have a postural assessment (mounted or on a saddle stand, your choice) and will work with Rachael to create individual movement plan to address your individual issues. Then there will be a practical session running through the principals and the moves.
Participants can attend the theory clinic on Friday evening only or both Friday and the practical clinic on Saturday. We have 6 spaces left for Friday evening and only 4 spaces left for both Friday & Saturday.
This clinic is very reasonable priced at $25 for Friday or $75 for both days! Don't miss out on this terrific opportunity! Email info@raynhamstables.com or call (905) 859-0057 to reserve your space.
