Halloween Schooling Show Start Times

Thank-you to everyone that registered!  We are going to have a terrific day tomorrow.   When you arrive, please head to the camp trailer to sign in.  

We will be running our Fall Volunteer Day after the show! If you have some time, we would appreciate it if you can stick around and help us prepare for the winter. 

Notes:

- We will have food and drinks available for sale in the camp trailer. 

- No dogs please

- Show attire is not required, just dress neatly and appropriately  for the weather

Raynham 4th Annual Holiday Banquet

Friday, November 30^th

We are having our 4th Annual Holiday Banquet at Le Jardin on Friday, November 30th!   We are going to have a terrific silent auction, door prizes, a delicious meal, music, dancing and our in-house and off-property high-point awards.  We would like to emphasize that the banquet it open to all of our riders and their friends and families.  It's great to see everyone out of your barn grubbies and have a fun evening out together!

Menu:

Butternut Squash Soup

Penne Rose 

Veal Scalloppini & Grilled Chicken Breast

A select Veal Scalloppini served in a white wine and mushroom sauce accompanied by a tender Breast of Chicken grilled to perfection and infused in a Rosemary jus served with roast potatoes & seasonal vegetables

Romandicchio Salad 

Mixed Field Greens along with Romaine and Radicchio Lettuce dressed in our homemade Balsamic-Honey Vinaigrette.

Dessert a Trois

A sweet trio consisting of Tiramisu, Mini Lemon Cheesecake and a Mini Chocolate Mousse

Royal Winter Fair Tickets - Sat. Nov 3rd

We have purchased group tickets for the Royal Winter Fair again this year!  They are for the evening show on Saturday, November 3rd starting at 6:45pm.  The tickets include admission to the fair for the day so you can head in early to shop and see the exhibits!  The show includes the Indoor Eventing Final, always thrilling and Round 2 of the Canadian Show Jumping Championships.  Here is the full schedule for the evening.

We have two groups of seats reserved for Raynham, both in the Green level seating in section 117 and 104 (seating chart).  The tickets are $45.75 each including HST.   This year, we need payment in advance in order to reserve a ticket (last year some people changed their mind and I was left scrambling to sell their tickets).  We can accept cash, cheque or email transfer.  I need confirmed numbers for GroupTix by Friday so please let me know via email ASAP!  It's going to be a blast, hope to see you all there.

Halloween Schooling Show

Hello everyone!  In case you have not seen the notice in the barn, we decided to keep the schooling show on the original date of Sunday, September 21st!  We will be combining our schooling show with the volunteer day, so if you are able to stick around to help will our winter preparations it would be greatly appreciated.
We are offering 5 division, details below.  If you are unsure of what level to enter, Nikki will let you know!

·      Smuft:  Walk/Trot Flat Class, Trot Pole Couse

o   Suitable for Beginner & Advanced beginner riders

·      Grasshopper: Walk/Trot/Canter flat class and Cross Rail course

o   Suitable for Novice level riders

·      Pre-Entry: Pre-Entry dressage test and 2’4” stadium course

o    Suitable for Intermediate riders

·      Entry: Entry dressage test, 2’8” stadium course

o   Suitable for Intermediate to Advanced riders

·      Pre-Training: Pre-Training dressage test, 3’ stadium course

o   Advanced riders only

We are also offering our Fun Classes again!  Pole Bending (two rounds), Command Class and our annual (and always thrilling!) Halloween Costume Class!  The costume class has three categories - Spookiest Costume, Most Original Costume and Most Artistic Costume.

YorkU had to change the date of their show to Sunday, November 25th.  There will still be no classes on Oct. 21st or 27th as originally scheduled.  PLEASE NOTE that this means Sundays for Session Two will now only be 7 days to allow for the OUEA show.

Fall Volunteer Day - 1pm - 4pm

There is always a ton to get done around the farm before winter!  If you have some time to offer, we would greatly appreciate assistant cleaning up flower beds, repairing fences and water lines, outfitting school ponies in winter blankets, upgrading the drive shed so that we can house more school ponies inside this winter and much more! There are jobs for handy moms and dads as well as kids of all ages.Complementary BBQ lunch for all volunteers and raffle for FREE lessons.  We hope to see you all there!

Fall Schooling Show
Our fall schooling show is always a blast with our Halloween Costume class!  Sign up in the barn for your favourite school pony and start planning costume ideas!  We will also be running a combined test with the possibility of including XC fences if weather permits.
