Schooling Show & Fundraiser – Saturday, April 29th
Hey Raynham Riders!
We will be having our annual spring schooling show on Saturday, April 29th! Schooling shows are a great way to meet other Raynham students, be able to test your progress and have a ton of fun! This schooling show is mandatory for show team riders but we encourage all of our riders to come out and participate! Even if you don't feel up to riding, come on out and cheer on your fellow riders!
Proceeds from the schooling show will be going towards install mirrors in the small indoor arena. Mirrors allow riders to check their position and be able to visualize the instructions they are receiving. We feel that this will be a huge benefit to our riders!
We will also be having a high-end second-hand sale as a fundraiser towards installing outdoor lighting in the stadium ring. This will greatly extend the time we can use the outdoor ring! Please bring cash or cheque (payable to Raynham Show Team) for any purchases.

The weather is supposed to be great, we’ll have the BBQ going so it should be a fantastic day! We hope to see you all there!
Lesson Cancellation Reminder
Just a gentle reminder to please provide as much notice as possible if you are going to be missing a lesson so that we can open up your spot on the scheduler. If everyone is able to give at least one week’s notice (aside from illness or last minute emergencies) it will make it much easier for everyone to be able to schedule make-up lessons. Please remember, make up lessons are not guaranteed and private lesson make-ups MAY have to be taken in a group class. I will try to also post about openings in the schedule on our Facebook page, so please follow us if you’d like to receive notice about upcoming openings. Full make-up lesson policy can be viewed here: http://www.raynhamstables.com/riding-school-policies.html
Birthday Party Helpers
We are looking for some helpers (must be in Grade 7 or higher), who would like to earn volunteer hours or a practice ride (45 min ride without instruction) in exchange for assisting with birthday parties! You will assist party guest with grooming and saddling and then lead a horse/pony during the mounted portion of the party. Some parties choose to do a photo frame craft so you may be assisting children with decorating a photo frame instead. Helpers need to be upbeat, enthusiastic and help keep the party running smoothly and safely.
Parties run on Saturdays and Sundays, generally 3 - 5pm. Helpers need to arrive 30 min early to help set up and stay 30 min after to clean up, so three hours in total.
