So we were brave last night and ran lessons despite the fact that it dropped to -15c or so around 8pm and everyone managed to stay warm enough! So we will run classes again tonight since the temperature is supposed to be the same. Yay, finally a Thursday lesson in February!

March/April Lesson Schedule
Hey Raynham Riders!
It looks like the weather is finally going to improve next week, fingers crossed! The next lesson session begins this Sunday, March 1st. Below is the tentative schedule. I have not been able to get in touch with everyone that I have had to move, so we may have to make adjustments.
Please let me know ASAP if there is an issue with your lesson time or if you are missing from the schedule.

It's only supposed to drop below -12c after 7pm tonight and almost no wind so I'm sure we can brave the chilly weather tonight! Just a few more days and it's supposed to be a little more reasonable.

Monday, Feb 23rd - Extreme Cold Weather Cancellation
Hey Monday Riders,
Yep, you guessed it - sadly lessons are cancelled again this evening. With the temperature still -19c before the windchill and no improvement forecasted for this evening, it's just to darn cold to ride. According to the news this morning, it looks like we are on track to shattered records for the coldest February on record - delightful!
Since this is the third Monday we have had to cancel, we will deduct the missed class off your next session if you prefer not to schedule a make-up.
If you have not yet booked your make-up from last week, this Saturday and Sunday are supposed to be quite reasonable again! Even more exciting - they are calling for a high of -1c next Monday. Compared to today, that will feel like t-shirt weather! If you'd like to fit in a make-up this weekend, some options for group lessons include:
Saturday:10:30am - Intermediate
10:30am - Novice / Intermediate
11:30am - Adv. Beginner / Novice
1:30pm - Adv. Beginner
2:30pm - Advanced

Hey Thursday Riders,
Unbelievable it is -21c before the windchill again today. I know there is only 28 more days until spring but I am already done with winter! Since this is the third Thursday we have had to cancel, we will deduct the missed class off your next session if you prefer not to schedule a make-up.
If you have not yet booked your make-up from last week, this Saturday and Sunday are supposed to be quite reasonable! Some options for group lessons include:

Sadly we are going to have to cancel classes today. It's is -18c out right now and although it's supposed to warm up slightly this afternoon, it will get very cold again this evening. Unfortunately this is the second Monday that we have had to cancel this session which means that riders do need to book a make-up for tonight. Just a reminder that we only invoiced for 7 weeks even though they are 8 weeks this session so that you did not have to worry about a make up for the first cancellation. If we have to cancel a third Monday this session, we will deduct the class off the next session's fees so riders only have one make-up to worry about. Riders are welcome to wait and book their make-up next session when the weather will hopefully be a little more accommodating.
I appreciate everyone's understanding. Stay warm tonight!

2015 Summer Camp Details!
Even thought is very much winter outside today, we are already gearing up for the summer! We are very excited to announce our 2015 Summer Camp details.
2015 Camp Details:
- SESSION FEES: $796.26 + HST = $900.00 (No increase from 2014!)
- BEFORE CARE: Complementary
- AFTER CARE: FREE IN 2015! (Previously $60/session)
- EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT: Register & pay in full by April 30th and receive $50.00 OFF your camp session!
- REFER A FRIEND DISCOUNT: Refer a friend who has not attending summer camp or taken lessons with Raynham Stables previously and receive $50.00 OFF your camp session!
- NEW! TRANSPORTATION: Exciting news for this summer - We are offering point-to-point busing from 4 stops in Toronto and stops along Hwy 400. The cost will be $100/camper/week ($200 per session).

Session One: June 29th – July 10th
Raynham Time Travellers
- Day Camp Program: 10 days, Monday - Friday
Campers, are you ready to blast through time for a
new adventure each day? Challenges will include a “mummy wrap” race through Ancient
Egypt, a horseback jousting challenge from Medieval times, a Pioneer “barn
raising” tower building contest and a Wild West “Wagon Train” obstacle course
and much more! Camp will conclude with a
Parent Show where campers will show off awesome routines featuring all of the
eras we visited!
Session Two:
July 13 – July 24th

Pan Am Games!
- Day Camp Program: 10 days, Monday - Friday
Raynham is going to host our own version of the
Pan-Am Games, which will be running in Toronto during this session! Campers will get to experience the excitement
of the Pan Am’s through challenges featuring the many of 36 sports featured at
the Games. We’ll show off our new
skills as we go for the gold at Parent Show!
Session Three:
July 26th – July 31
Raynham
Boot Camp
- Residential Camp Program: 6 days, Sunday – Friday
This camp is for intermediate and advanced riders
who are serious about improving their skills and expanding their equestrian
knowledge! The week-long program will include session with experts including an
equine nutritionist, veterinarian and farrier as well as video analysis
lessons, semi-private dressage lessons and cross country schooling (off-property
schooling available for advanced riders, additional fee applies). This session concludes with a mini-show to
test your new skills!
Session Four:
August 9 – August 14
Game
Show Mania!
- Residential Camp Program: 6 days, Sunday – Friday
Earn a fork for dinner by completing the cup
stacking challenge in less than 60 seconds! Throughout the session, campers
will participate in challenges based on your all-time favourite game shows
including Minute to Win It, Deal or No Deal, Family Feud, Wheel of Fortune and
more! This session will conclude with a
Parent vs. Campers Game Show!
Session Five: August 17 – August 28
Treasure
Hunters
- Day Camp Program: 10 days, Monday – Friday
Discover the ancient hidden treasure at Raynham
Stables! Your quest will begin by
finding your way through the labyrinth to retrieve the hidden treasure map. Using the map, you will work with your team
to solve the riddles to discover the location of the hidden treasure! Camper will conclude their two-week journey with
an action-packed Parent Show illustrating their adventures!

Hey Raynham Riders! You probably guessed it when you stepped outside this morning - lessons are cancelled this evening. The roads are messy and it's very, very cold out so stay safe and warm tonight. As we only invoiced for 7 classes this session, you do not have to schedule a make-up but you are welcome to if you wish!
