Hey Raynham Riders!  We are so excited to have so many of you participating in the schooling show tomorrow. 

IMPORTANT DETAILS:

- Riders need to arrive at least 45 min before their ride time to do fantastic grooming job and get tacked up.

- Head to the camp trailer when you arrive for registration & to pick up your number

- Show attire is not required, just dress neatly and warmly.

- Please leave dogs at home since it will be a busy day.

- Breakfast and lunch will be available for sale in the camp trailer!

Halloween Schooling Show - Saturday, October 28th

Hey Raynham Riders!

We will be having our annual Halloween Schooling Show on Saturday, October 28th! Everyone is welcome to attend. We are offering the following levels, if you are uncertain what level to enter, please ask your instructor during your next lesson.

The costume parade is always the highlight of the show and will be at approx 12:30pm.

Time Schedule:

These times are for the start of the division.  Riders should plan to arrive at least 45min early to do a thorough grooming, clean their tack, then tack-up and mount 15 - 20 minutes before their start time to warm up.   When you arrive, please check in at the show office in the camp trailer to pay and pick up your number.

9:30am - Pre Training/Training Division
10:30am - Entry Division
11:30am - Pre Entry Division
12:30pm -  Halloween Costume Parade
1:30pm - Novice Division

Division Descriptions

Grasshopper Division - $60.00

• Flat Class - Walk, posting trot, 2-point at the walk, knowledge of posting diagonals 
• Over Fences - Trot pole course, 4 to 6 sets of poles

Smurf Division - $60.00 

• Flat Class - Walk, posting trot, 2-point in trot, individual canter 
• Over Fences - Cross rail course, 6 to 8 fences, max 1'6"  

Novice Division - $60.00

• Flat Class - Walk, posting trot, 2-point in trot, group canter 
• Over Fences - 2'0" max course

 Pre-Entry Division - $60.00

• Dressage Flat Class - W/T/C, sitting trot, 20m circles, shallow loops off the track
• Over Fences - 2'4" max course 

Entry Division - $60.00

• Dressage Flat Class - W/T/C with some connection, sitting trot without stirrups, 15m circles, shallow loops off the track 
• Over Fences - 2'8" max course 

Pre-Training/Training Division - $60.00

• Dressage Flat Class - W/T/C consistently on contact, sitting trot & canter without stirrups, 10m circles in trot, 15m circles in canter, walk to canter 
• Over Fences - 3'0" / 3'6" max course

Updated Lesson Schedule & Make-up Lesson Policy

Hey Raynham Riders!  

It's been terrific seeing everyone back in the saddle! Below is the updated lesson schedule.  If you still need to make a change or have not yet enrolled in classes, the only available spaces are highlighted in green. 

I also wanted to remind riders of our make-up lesson policy: 

Make-Up Lesson Policy

We realize that students occasionally have to cancel a lesson, so to simplify the process of rescheduling we have set up the online scheduler to book make-up lessons: http://www.raynhamstables.com/online-lesson-scheduling.html.   It is the responsibility of the student to book their make-up lesson by the end of the session.
 
We are aware that it can be difficult to find a make-up spot, especially during the busy spring and fall months, so please do not cancel unnecessarily.  Spaces to book a make-up are made available by other students canceling, please be courteous and PROVIDE AS MUCH NOTICE AS POSSIBLE IF YOU ARE GOING TO MISS A CLASS so we can open your space on the scheduler.   Also be aware that the opportunity to make-up a class simply may not occur for you, a make-up lesson is something we HOPE will be available; it is not something we can guarantee will happen.
 
Make-up Lesson Details:

• We ask that students provide at least one week’s notice if you are going to miss a lesson.  This gives other students enough time to be book your now-open time slot for a make-up lesson.  Please notify the office via email (or cancel through the scheduler) to receive a make-up lesson.
• We realize sometimes things happen at the last minute – illness, car problems, etc.  As long as you provide at least 24 hours’ notice of cancellation, we will still allow you to schedule a make-up lesson.  Please note – with only 24 hours’ notice, it is virtually impossible that someone will be able to book your time on the scheduler so students may only cancel last-minute ONCE per session.
• If you cancel a private lesson, we cannot guarantee that there will be a private lesson space available so you may have to do your make-up in a group lesson instead.
• Make-ups are only available to students currently enrolled in lessons.  If you stop taking lessons for a session, any missed classes are no longer available to be made up.
• Make-up lessons are nontransferable and cannot be deducted from the next session fees.

TENTATIVE Fall Schedule

Hey Raynham Riders!

I hope everyone is excited as I am for the fall lesson to begin! It sure feels like fall is coming this week with the cooler weather.  The school horses are enjoying their vacation this week but I'm sure they are looking forward to lessons (and treats!) again too!

Here is the TENTATIVE schedule for this session. If you are missing from the schedule or are scheduled for a time that you cannot ride at, don't panic! Just send me an email and I will sort it out :) I did my very best with the schedule, it was challenging this year, as usual! I am very appreciative to everyone that helped me figure it out - Amy, Lindsay, and Caryn! I am still missing a few rider's forms and I had to schedule a few riders for times that they did not list as available so I am anticipating that there WILL be changes. Please check back here Sunday for any revisions. When you arrive for your first lesson of the session next week, please head over to the camp trailer to check in (new rider forms & waivers, payment, etc.)

- James M. you are at 5:00 pm right now because there was no early lesson but I am happy to move you to earlier if we can fill the spots

- Paeten C. - I know you didn't really want Thursdays - there will be a space Tuesday @ 7 pm as of November or you could also do the Sunday @ 10:30 am or 12:30 pm classes. 

- Ashley K. - Are you able to ride Wednesday's at 5:00 pm?

Fall Lesson Registration

Hey Raynham Riders!  

It's hard to believe that we're more than halfway through August already.  While I'm not nearly ready for the summer to be over, I can't wait to see everyone back in the saddle!  I'm sorry for the delay in getting this posted, life here at Raynham has been busy (as usual!) but this summer we had some extra excitement. Last weekend we celebrated the wedding of my brother, Ryan and Cristina!  Despite a crazy thunderstorm the night before (causing a challenging power outage!), it was a beautiful day.  Many of our riders and staff helped make it possible so we wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone involved. I know Ryan and Cristina were touched by the kindness and generosity of the wonderful group of people we have here at Raynham.

Below is the link for the fall lesson registration form.  I have split the registration form up by group lessons and private lessons again this year in an attempt to simplify creating the schedule.  Please let me know if you have any questions about how to submit your form.

As in previous years, please provide me with AS MANY OPTIONS as possible.  Making the schedule work for all of our riders, horses, and instructors is incredibly difficult and having flexibility for times is the only thing that makes it a bit easier!  If you have preferred times, please let me know in the comments sections and I will do my absolute best.

Again, we are looking forward to seeing everyone back at the barn soon!
